Mary Canning, President of the Royal Irish Academy, launched the recent IHTA publications of no. 30 Dungarvan/Dún Garbhán by John Martin (2020); Dublin suburbs no. 2, Rathmines by Seámas Ó Maitiú (2021) and Drogheda c. 1180 to 1900: from fortified borough to industrial port town by Ned Mc Hugh (2020).
Both Dungarvan/Dún Garbhán and Rathmines were published during 2020 and 2021 and launched virtually with John Martin delivering and online lecture and interview (more here) and Seámas Ó Maitiú giving a lecture (more here).
Drogheda c. 1180 to 1900 is an ancillary publication to IHTA no. 29 Drogheda/Droichead Átha by Ned Mc Hugh, published in 2019. More on those launches here.
